The on-premise software installed on your systems is provided on the terms of the Johnson Controls End User License Agreement (General EULA), and the applicable Supplemental Terms and Product Specific Terms if any, located below.Your access to and receipt of Johnson Controls cloud-based software and platform services are governed by the Johnson Controls Terms of Service (General TOS) , and the applicable Supplemental Terms and Product Specific Terms if any, located below.
The General TOS and the General EULA are the Johnson Controls Base Terms. For most Johnson Controls digital product, either the General TOS (for cloud-based services) or the General EULA (for on-premise services) will apply.
Cloud-based software and hosted products are offered under the General TOS, unless specified in our Product Specific Terms including the following listed products:

Supplemental Terms are terms that apply to a specific group or suite of digital products and complement the applicable Base Terms. The Johnson Controls Supplemental Terms consist of the Data Processing Addendum (DPA), AI Terms, and Hardware/Hardware as a Service (HaaS) Terms.
All products covered by our Terms of Service that process personal data are also covered by our Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
Products that include or use artificial intelligence are covered by our AI Terms and AI Code of Conduct.
Offerings that include hardware sales or hardware-as-a-service offerings are covered by our HAAS Addendum.
