Venturi Valves
Johnson Controls Venturi valves are utilized within the HVAC infrastructure of operating rooms, patient isolation rooms, laboratories, and more to protect occupants and provide clean air.
A crucial part of the HVAC infrastructure
Trusted by the top hospitals, universities, and research facilities, Johnson Controls Venturi valves help protect occupants from dangerous airborne pathogens and chemicals.
Our line of Venturi valves are pressure-independent and maintain the desired airflow requirements regardless of duct pressure.
The valves utilize fast-acting electric actuators to provide a rapid response to changing conditions. This rapid response ensures the airflow is constantly maintained at desired levels, whether in a negative or positively pressured space.
Johnson Controls Venturi valves are dependable, field adjustable, maintenance-free, easy to install, and are designed for low sound power levels that meet or exceed ASHRAE guidelines. Our family of valves also work harmoniously with system components from various manufacturers and easily integrate into Metasys or any third-party building automation system (BAS), creating a data-rich system for your facility.

Venturi valve options included medium pressure valves (0.6” to 3” water column) to allow for higher flow while low pressure valves (0.3” to 3” water column) require a smaller pressure drop to maintain a constant flow.
Installation options and sizes
Built for a variety of applications, our line of Venturi valves are offered in 8”, 10”, 12”, and 14” diameter. The valves can be installed either horizontally or vertically to fit your HVAC infrastructure needs.
Construction material and coating selection
Johnson Controls Venturi valves are made from aluminum, and a stainless-steel option is available for facilities using highly corrosive or dangerous chemicals. Heresite® or Kynar®/PVDF coatings are also available for added protection against a wide range of corrosives and chemicals.
Valve flow options
Choose from constant or actuated valves depending on your system. Constant volume Venturi valves can be used for biosafety cabinets, constant volume fume hoods, ventilated cabinets, and outside air regulation. Actuated valves are best utilized in systems that adapt to a dynamic environment. Valves can also be ganged together to increase overall flow.
Increase energy savings
Partially closed Venturi valves allow for increased airflow while full shut-off Venturi valves keep the valve closed while not in use which increases energy savings. Thermal insulation can also be added to decrease energy costs by reducing thermal losses.
