Leading the World in Fire Technology

The P50 range represents a new and improved generation of fire extinguishers. With massive cost saving benefits, reduced weight, and lower environmental impact, P50 extinguishers provide the first truly sustainable option while also offering enhanced performance and financial benefits.

The unique P50 foam and powder fire extinguishers use the design technology of composite materials pioneered by the aerospace and motor racing industries.

The main construction of the P50 is a High-Density Polyethylene Aramid fibre (Kevlar®) material that is woven onto the body. This material is strong and incredibly light.

The Aramid fibre-type material is also used in butane/propane gas bottles, towing ropes, bulletproof vests, fire-proof gloves, and many other products.

British-made, the P50 extinguishers incorporate three patented elements: the weave, the blow-moulded inner body, and a locking neck ring. The outer body is UV-protected. The operational valve has double pressure indicators to ensure cross-calibrating.

No Need for Annual Engineer Service

The main expense in relation to fire extinguisher provision is not the initial purchase price but the cost of paying a third party to maintain the equipment. P50 fire extinguishers enable your business or organization to carry out your own maintenance with a simple annual visual inspection, which results in substantial savings year after year.

The most technologically advanced fire extinguisher

Johnson Controls supply six types of P50 extinguishers in the form of foam and powder. High fire ratings provide advanced fire protection that cover all risks.

P50 BSX ASX Foam

The Fluro Factant Free Foam fire extinguisher has excellent firefighting capabilities. This makes it effective on Class A materials, wood, paper and textiles as well as Class B fires fuelled by paints, solvents, oils, and petrochemical products. The unit has also passed the EN3 test for use on live electrical equipment up to 1,000 volts at a distance of one metre. The operational temperature range is from +5ºC to +60ºC. Frost protection to -5ºC is available.

P50 ABC40 Powder

The ABC40 Powder fire extinguisher is designed to be installed in areas where there are a variety of fire hazards and where fast extinguishing is required. ABC40 Powder fire extinguishers can tackle fires on Class A materials, wood, paper and textiles. It is also effective on Class B fires fuelled by oils, paints, solvents, and petrochemical products as well as on Class C flammable gas fires. It is safe to use on live electrical equipment up to 1,000 volts at a distance of one metre. The operational temperature range is from -20ºC to +60ºC.

No Annual Costs

Calculate how much you can save by removing the costs of your annual service requirement/contract.
