Inspiring global climate action from one of the world’s most diverse and populous cities.

Buildings account for nearly 40% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions and in major world cities, this figure is much higher. In London for example, around 80% of emissions come from burning fossil fuels to power and heat buildings.

Decarbonizing the built environment is imperative to solving the climate crisis. Creating a net zero capital city is no easy task – but is within reach. We already have the technology we need to turn buildings from one of the biggest challenges into one of the biggest, quickest wins for net zero. And we’re proving this across the globe every day.

Our partnership and impact with customers shows how we are addressing some of London’s key themes this year such as delivering a net zero and resilient UK, and financing the global climate transition:

Johnson Controls is proud to join London Climate Action Week, and work with business and public leaders, academics and industry associations to create smart, healthy, sustainable buildings and solve for net zero.
