Serving Rural Areas in India with Mobile Primary Health Centers

During a crisis, medical treatment, education and sanitization can be major challenges for those living in secluded areas, or for those with limited mobility. Johnson Controls – Hitachi Air Conditioning India (JCH-IN) has initiated mobile primary health centers to help support lockdown efforts in rural areas by providing medical services to people’s doorsteps. One of the main goals of the units is to provide medical services to those who cannot travel, such as the elderly and pregnant women. The fully fitted units are staffed by medical specialists and paramedics to address health concerns and discuss preventative measures. These specialists are also educating the community on sanitization, social distancing and immunity.
