Clean Air in Atlantic Coast School District

Share

Supporting health, wellness and enhanced learning

To maintain a healthy and comfortable learning environment, school district leaders are called upon to meet the immediate need for clean air. The National Center for Education Statistics states that nearly 50% of U.S. school buildings report having issues with indoor air quality (IAQ).

For one Atlantic coast public school district, prioritizing clean air meant upgrading HVAC filters throughout its 57 schools. The district’s administrative leaders also understood the value in long-term maintenance to ensure the schools’ HVAC equipment would last longer while delivering optimal performance. However, they needed to act fast to deliver the right solutions without delay. After evaluating their funding options, they decided to pursue a cooperative agreement to quickly and effectively accomplish their goals.
