Johnson Controls Chairman and CEO George Oliver was featured on the Bloomberg Businessweek Podcast with hosts Carol Massar and Tim Stenovec.

In the interview, Oliver discussed the critical role buildings play in addressing climate change, as well as his outlook on consumer demand and supply chain improvement.

When asked to share his views about the U.S. economy, Oliver said he is seeing “unprecedented demand for what we do in buildings,” noting that the company’s short-term challenges are related to supply chain issues, which are being addressed.

Decarbonization commitments made by both business and government are helping drive this demand for the company’s solutions, Oliver said.
