Johnson Controls Recognized for Excellence at the Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards 2024

Johnson Controls, the global leader for smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, has been recognized for excellence in the prestigious Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards 2024. The annual awards recognize best practices for initiatives in Learning and Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Sales Performance, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and the Future of Work.

Johnson Controls was recognized in the following categories:

  • Gold Learning & Development for “Best Competencies and Skill development”
  • Silver in Learning & Development for “Best Use of Games or Simulations for Learning”
  • Silver in Talent Acquisition “Best New Hire Onboarding Program”
  • Bronze in Learning & Development for “Best Use of Games or Simulations for Learning” with partner organization Encora, a global leader in digital engineering services.

 

The Sales Competency Program, launched globally in 2023, was recognized for enhancing frontline sellers’ skills through targeted discussions and blended learning, fostering a high-performing sales organization. The Johnson Controls Heat Pump Simulation, a versatile 3D learning application, was recognized for providing technicians and engineers with an immersive, risk-free environment for mastering heat pump operations, adaptable for both classroom and online use. Also recognized was the BEST New Hire Onboarding Program which welcomes direct field labor in technical roles to Johnson Controls with immediate support via self-paced and virtual instructor led courses on the company, safety, and domain based technical content. This project was also a Johnson Controls 2022 Chairman’s Award-winning project.

Entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts, and executives based on these criteria:

  • Alignment to their business need and environment
  • Program design, functionality and delivery
  • Adoption, integration, user experience, innovation and creativity
  • Overall effectiveness, impact, and measurable benefits
