Johnson Controls Named to FORTUNE’s “Most Admired Companies” List

• Johnson Controls selected based on nine criteria of corporate reputation
• This is the first year that Johnson Controls has been named to the list

CORK, Ireland – Feb. 8, 2022 – Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI), the global leader for smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, today announced that it has been selected as one of FORTUNE’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” in 2022. This is the first time Johnson Controls has been named to the list.

To determine companies on the list, FORTUNE partnered with Korn Ferry to develop a survey based on nine corporate reputational attributes including innovativeness, ability to attract and retain talented people, and social responsibility to the community and environment. In total, 3,820 raters, executives and board members from FORTUNE 500 companies eligible to be included on the list, drew from their knowledge of the companies and their reputations to evaluate each attribute for each company across 52 industries.
