Not only were they looking to create a safer workplace, they wanted to improve the employee experience and attract top talent from other companies.
Testing security solutions for optimal outcomes
This firm enlisted Johnson Controls as a partner to install security upgrades and build the ideal employee experience. The team began by piloting different security solutions at different company locations to see what would work best for headquarters. Johnson Controls experts installed three separate touchless access control solutions at the regional offices, including Alcatraz, Invision and American Dynamics. These pilots provided the installation team with performance metrics for each solution before they determined which to implement in the company headquarters.
By putting a standardized set of security solutions in place, the firm has enhanced their employee experience globally to improve employee satisfaction and attract top talent from other companies.
Taking touchless technology one step further, the team also installed new card reader access allowing employees to navigate the facility hands-free using their mobile credentials. To reduce touch contamination in high-traffic areas, facial recognition systems were installed in entryways, and are needed to make conference room reservations and all copying and printing activities further improving security and employee privacy.
