—Mark Reinbold, vice president of Sustainable Infrastructure
“There is no road to net zero carbon emissions that doesn’t go through buildings,” said Mark Reinbold, vice president of Sustainable Infrastructure. “We continue to expand our global capabilities to help organizations on their journey. This ranking recognizes the incredible leadership of our Global Sustainable Infrastructure team in supporting public and private organizations around the world to simplify the path to net zero.”
Guidehouse Insights uses a proprietary Leaderboard methodology to profile, rate and rank ESCOs with the goal of providing an objective assessment of their relative strengths and weaknesses in the ESCO market. These companies are rated on 10 criteria: Vision; Go-to-Market Strategy; Partnerships; Technology; Geographic Reach; Sales, Marketing and Distribution; Depth of ESCO Offerings; Project Portfolio; Financing and Staying Power.
David Gonzalez, research analyst with Guidehouse Insights notes, "The gap between ESCO market leaders and other companies is widening as some ESCOs innovate beyond efficiency solutions while others play catch-up in developing comprehensive, integrated technology and financing capabilities."
“We have always seen the Sustainable Infrastructure team and its focus on contracted outcomes as playing beyond the capabilities of many legacy ESCOs, so it’s great to see the recognition of this capability in Guidehouse’s evaluation,” said Reinbold.
