Navigating Building Performance Standards

Governments across the United States are enacting building performance standards to address climate change and promote social justice. These standards aim to decarbonize, reduce energy use, and increase clean energy adoption. For the first time, they include existing buildings as well as new constructions, necessitating retrofits and upgrades.

Implementing BPS can significantly reduce these figures, contributing to national sustainability goals

Industry Standards and Benchmarking Capabilities

We've integrated a global library industry standards and benchmarking capabilities into OpenBlue Enterprise Manager. This allows customers to measure their buildings' performance against external factors like the Commercial Building Energy Consumption Survey (CBX) and local regulations such as New York's Local Law 97. These tools make it a lot easier to track regulatory compliance and make informed decisions.

Regulatory Compliance Program Analysis

Our regulatory compliance analysis model can forecast a building's emissions and compliance status for the next 12 months highlighting potential penalties for non-compliance, enabling customers to take proactive measures to avoid them.

This functionality makes it very easy for customers to understand how their buildings are performing in terms of compliance, over time and comparisons with different sites or building types.
