Planning for Emergencies
Under the confined space regulations, your business is legally required to have a set of emergency arrangements in the event of an accident for those working in temporary or permanent confined spaces.
The Johnson Controls approach to emergency arrangements and planning involves understanding how to prevent an accident in the first place. We will identify the specific risks within each confined space on your site and provide you with a plan tailored to suit your requirements.
In particular, we look at risk areas including access, egress, atmosphere monitoring and working at height.
Complete Entry Rescue Team
If local emergency services are not sufficient to cover your emergency requirements, Johnson controls can provide fully equipped, on-site rescue teams to respond to incidents. Their role is to locate, stabilise and safely extract a casualty from the confined space and deliver them to the medical emergency services.
On-site First Aid and Training
All employees have a responsibility to provide first aid cover for their employees and visitors. Johnson Controls can provide experienced and well equipped first aid cover, or our experienced first aid trainers can deliver the knowledge your employees need to treat injuries as the first responders to an emergency.
